Marylise Florid Concert – Solo Guitar
Marylise Florid’s talent is unanimously recognized both in the classical guitar scene and in the world of jazz, especially since she shared the stage and recorded an album with the late Sylvain Luc, an exceptional guitarist.
Beyond her impressive list of awards (Grand Prize for Interpretation at the René Bartoli International Guitar Competition, among others), this outstanding musician stands out for the emotion conveyed through her deceptively effortless and precise playing, as well as her innate sense of phrasing, always serving a deep musicality.
A professor at the Marseille Conservatory, she is as passionate about performing as she is about teaching.
The traditional solo concert, which opens each edition of the festival in the small church of Le Casset, will allow us to appreciate her talents as both interpreter and improviser.
