This summer, the creation of a new musical, "Oh! La Fontaine! The Return..." in the magnificent setting of the Vauban Citadel in Briançon.
This show, which brings together all the performing arts—original music, singing, dancing, and comedy—highlights a women's choir that serves as the central thread of this adaptation of La Fontaine's Fables and complements the singers' performances.
The number of performances will increase to 15 (2 extra shows!) to meet the high demand from audiences.
La Fontaine was a keen observer of his time. With humor and intelligence, he documented and criticized the flaws of his era by giving voice to animals, thus avoiding much trouble for himself.
The musical features an orchestra of 10 musicians, 8 dancers, and 9 actors, singers, and circus performers who bring remarkable enthusiasm and recognized talent to the stage.
The staging offers, with humor and subtlety, a double interpretation that appeals both to children and their parents.
