Grand French Music Concert in Briançon

For the tenth consecutive year, the Choeur Région Sud will be visiting the Hautes-Alpes department for two exceptional concerts. The first will take place at the church of Monêtier-les-Bains on Saturday, July 25 at 9 PM, and the second at the collegiate church of Briançon on Sunday, July 26 at 6 PM. Under the direction of Michel Piquemal, the Choir invites you to follow a beautiful musical journey through the sacred repertoire of three major composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. This program revolves around choral works by Charles Gounod, Gabriel Fauré, and Francis Poulenc. It highlights rich, expressive music that captures the full range of human emotions: anger and revolt, but also joy, love, and serenity.
