Festival Swing in the Mountains - Concert Les VOIX DE LA TERRE

From 10 to 15 August, Serre Chevalier welcomes the 20th edition of the Swing in the Mountains Festival, in a convivial atmosphere.
It's a chance for American jazz singer and festival patron Dénia Ridley and jazz pianist Jo Kaiat to perform.
This year's programme is set to be rich and varied, with singing workshops, jazz, blues, gospel, concerts and a gathering of choristers from all over the world, the Gospel Mass Choir (registration required).
10-13 August: gospel and vocal jazz workshop, from 5pm to 7pm at the Salle du Dôme (Monêtier les Bains)
12 August: Jo Kaiat concert, 8.30pm, Salle du Serre d'Aigle (Chantemerle)
13 August: Denia Ridley concert at 8.30pm, Salle de la Maison de la Montagne (Villeneuve)
15 August: concert by the "Gospel Mass Choir", artistic director: Dénia Ridley at 8.30pm at the Salle du Dôme (Mônetier les Bains)
Jo Kaiat is a jazz pianist with a multi-influenced style. Born in Nice, he spent two years travelling in New York, then Mali and Israel... all experiences he conveys through his music. He has also played with renowned artists such as Dennis Charles, Andy McClouds and Steve Neils.
