Le Monêtier les Bains in winter

The village
Monêtier les Bains is situated at the foot of the Col du Lautaret and the Galibier, two legendary passes in the Tour de France and a Mecca for the Petite Reine.

Le Monêtier les Bains began to develop in the 19th century, thanks to its hot springs rich in minerals and curative properties.
It was then that Monêtier les Bains became a village popular with national and international clients, with the creation of the Grands Bains thermal and leisure centre.

With its traditional mountain village charm, walkers will be able to access famous peaks such as Yret and Cucumelle.
