From 18 to 21 August, Serre Chevalier hosts the 4th Serre Chevalier Summer Jazz Festival, with concerts in Le Casset, Saint-Chaffrey, La Salle-les-Alpes and Le Monêtier-les-Bains.

The artist:
The talent of Marylise Florid is unanimously recognized in the world of classical guitar but also in the jazz scene, particularly since she shared the stage and recorded an album with Sylvain Luc, an exceptional guitarist who recently passed away.
Beyond her impressive record (Grand Prix of Interpretation at the René Bartoli International Guitar Competition, etc…), this outstanding musician is noted for the emotion that emanates from her playing, which is striking in its ease and precision, and for her innate sense of phrasing, always serving great musicality. A professor at the Marseille conservatory, she is as passionate about the stage as she is about teaching.
The traditional solo concert, which opens each edition of the festival in the small church of Casset, will allow us to hear her talents as a performer and improviser.
